pET-11a-d载体具有N端T7标签和BamH I多克隆克隆位点。这些载体是很多pET家族载体的前身。pET-21a-d(+)系列载体分别对应于pET-11a-d载体,但是包含有几个额外的特征序列。独特的酶切位点在载体图谱中被标注出来。需要注意的是,这些载体序列是依据载体pBR322的方向来进行编号的,所以T7标签表达区域在载体图谱上是反向的。
