For reactivation distribute the complete content of the ampoule on one agar plate; needs sufficient humidity for growth -> when transferring to fresh plates don't just streak but wash away/suspend grown cells e.g. with DSMZ medium 215 and use about 1 ml of the suspension as inoculum for the fresh plate.
